Building a brand for LIBERATE 2014

Building this set of logos was a perfect example of the importance of solid collaboration between creatives and their clients.

Fortunately, everyone agreed that the badge was the right way to go for this particular logo. Having decided that, though, we moved through several iterations, changing color, badge shape, text, placement, background, until we settled on the final version.

Throughout the project, I also built alternates that could feasibly be included in the branding guide once the marketing for the conference the brand was built for is completely underway. I love the transparent white, just because it interacts so well with good photography behind it. But all of these marks are simple, clean, elegant, and beautiful. They fit the LIBERATE brand perfectly.
